Bottled - tasted blind. An unclear dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with hoppy notes of grapefruit as well as notes of Belgian yeast. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of Belgian yeast and American hops - a bit over the top for my liking - like a Belgian IPA. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle, 12oz. An almost clear, almost golden beer with a big, diminishing white head. Nice hoppy, piney and fruity nose with a tiny touch of malts in the background. Lovely piney flavor with a generic hoppy fruityness on a malty-sweet background. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Long, peppery, piney, fruity and bitter finish. A flavorful, quaffable golden ale. Really pleasant. (090116)

(Bottle) Pours hazy yellow to light amber with a small, fast decreasing head. The aroma holds notes of fresh pineapple, lemon soap, oranges and rubber up front with undertones of apples, pears, doughy white bread, earth, flowers/roses and subtle spicy hops. Maybe just a whisper of horse blanket funk. Very laid back malt and hop profile, there is more room for the yeast. The flavour is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with dry finish. Tones of pineapple, star fruit, flowers and citrus on a bready malt base. The mouthfeel is medium carbonated, soft and a bit acidic. Medium after bitterness. Light bodied. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy light yellow color ale with large pure white foamy head with perfect retention and excellent lacing. Aroma is a nice mix between some barley notes and well balanced citrus and grapefruit notes. Taste is very refreshing with loads of character without being too extreme. Body is full with limited filtration and perfect carbonation. I must admit to having been surprise by this one; I was expecting a easy drinking no character blond ale with found a well balance hops ale with a great malt backbone. I would definitely buy this more often it was available around town.

It is hazy golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of fruity hops, flower and citrus. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of papaya, oranges, flower, malt, caramel, cane sugar and the finish has a light bitterness. A little explosion of flavour in a rather low ABV. It is delicious and harmonic.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-02-24) Golden and hazy. Very small, white and quickly disappearing head. Fuitiy, citric and bit malty aroma. Full bodied and dryish palate with medium carbonation. Malts, toffee, fruitiness, bitterness, pine and hint of sweetness in taste. Fruity and bitter aftertaste.

big rumbling head that doesnt quit. heavy handed and dense hop profile with chalky and harsh bitter white rind of grapefruit rind bitterness. sweet and a bit slick light (??!!) beer has smooth unassuming carbonation to go with that soft champagne like head. real fruit flavors almost tropical with a touch of pear. simply a dynamite golden. this is one of the most packed out beers in terms of flavor.
