12 oz bottle from Pizza Port bottle shop. Based on the ratings, I wasn’t expecting much, but hot damn this was nice. Golden color, citrus hop aroma. Very clean, easy drinking. Almost reminds me of a mix of a golden ale, Pilsener, and an IPA. Extremely easy to drink and very tasty. One of the absolute best breweries in America.

A- Pours a amber golden color with a huge 3 finger out of control head. It looks massive and unrestrained but fades fairly quickly with no lacing. S- Sweet malty aroma with hints of slightly tart fruits such as rasberries. T- Taste is very wheaty but completely bland. A very slight bitterness but not enough to get anything done, I was straining just to taste that. M- Lacks carbonation for the style and just makes me think of a stagnant pond as it’s going down. This was the part of the beer I really didn’t enjoy. D- I found it hard to even finish my 12 oz serving. Very bland and lackluster with a mouthfeel that will leave you running for the hills.

Pours hazy straw-orange with off white head. Decent strength nose with wheated malts, sweet pale malts, mild yeasty spice and fruity vague hoppiness. The taste is sweet with fruity apple notes along with prunes, lemon zest and tartness. The tartness grows toward the finish and becomes a bit too strong.

Poured murky amber with a huge white head and lots of sticky lacings. Aroma is big piney hops with a bit of caramel. Taste is a big citrus-grapefruit hop blast slightly offset by the malts. After the initial hop-blast it settles into a very pleasant brew. Biggest flavored Golden / Blond Ale I’ve had. Hop note closer to a strong APA. Hard to believe this much taste in a beer with just 5.6 abv. Impressive.

12 oz bottle from Bev4less in Santee. Pours a cloudy yellow color with big white sudsy head. The aroma is medium strong with citrus, spices and some vegetable that I just can’t place. The flavor is lively and spicy with mild citrus, biter hops and some cotton candy. The mouthfeel is light without being thin, and is very satisfying. The finish is long with a biter sweet aftertaste. Overall: A good ale to come home to on a spring day after a hard days work, very sessionable.

Murky golden color with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon, honey, yeast, and banana. Nice easy smooth feel on your tongue. Mellow sweet malt and light hops. Super easy to drink. Fairly simple taste profile but very tasty for the style.
