Aroma of sweet pilsner malt with floral slightly spicy hops. Tase is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild to moderate amount of bitterness. Very good. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Hazy pale gold with a bubbly white head. Strong citrus aroma of mostly grapefruit. Light bodied and rather bitter. Grapefruit rind flavor. One of the bigger blond ales I’ve had. Has some astringency and earthiness in the background. riversideAK (2761), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Straw yellow and hazy with a great head and lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, florals, and sourdough bread. Nice pleasant grapefruit and perfume up front with softer sweet crystal malts. Pretty big carbonation. Easy drinking pleasant balance of softly sweet pale malts and nice hops. Crisp with a more or less clean finish. wickedpete (629), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 25, 2008 Nice flavors of fruit, yeast and some hops. A good representation of a golden ale. I like this style for its low alcohol and drinkability. BOLTZ7555 (1100), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Peach and apricot are noticeable throughout the sample. This beer is a murky yellow with a hint of tangerine toward the thickest part of the glass. The head is non-existent and an invisible coating of the liquid, rather than lacing, remains on the inside of the vessel. Smelled a bit of sourness initially but that subsided. Flavor improves as it warms and displays a berry quality. I’m not sure why it is rates so poorly...tasty, unique, and enjoyable!!! fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Fruit and citrus off the aromas of this golden ale with a decent white head. Sorta tart in the flavor. Malty start with sweet and tart middle. Touches of alcohol, but not a lot. Pretty tasty.
