Aroma is of a sweet malty nature but i can’t pinpoint what though. Flavor is sweet and very smooth. The flavor is not strong in the profile but still a good ale. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Pours a hazy peach gold with a thin cap of foam. No head retention, no lacing. Mild fruity malt aroma. Nothing special so far.
More malt in the flavor - biscuit and a wee bit of caramel. A touch of orange, lemon, and spicy hops in the finish. Light to medium body, scant carbonation. It took me many days to finish six of these. Not a bad beer by any means, just not very interesting.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 7, 2007 This should go down as one of the classic beers i the USA> It has a great appearance and just a perfectly complex flavor that really grows as you drink it. Try this as it is a winner! johnykat (65), Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jan 3, 2007 I swear I’m not trying to rip anyone off, I’m just giving credit...a ton of credit to the previous post of iowaherkeye. This beer is flower petals and pine sol. I had to laugh when I read that, because that is exactly what this beer taste like. I would advise that you avoid this beer. iowaherkeye (1872), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 27, 2006 12oz bottle from IrishBoy, thanks Richard--no date. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with a ring of white fizz--and I poured like a madman. Aroma has some lemon zest and artificial oranges, some spices and yeast. A fair amount of tartness and straight bitterness fight for the dominating flavor. There is also a bit of cough syrup and a bit of off aromas that I compare to most all of the t Smisje brews--though this beer isn’t as bad. Tastes like I’m eating flower petals and pine sol.Carbonation is almost nonexistent and the body is watery. This was a crapper from HOTD. DYCSoccer17 (2200), Davis, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Dec 15, 2006 Updated: Dec 19, 200612 ounce stubby bottle purchased from Monument Wine in Concord, CA. Citrus, lemony, grassy, hop aroma that also has some bready, doughy, and biscuity malt aromas present. Quite aromatic. Modestly hazy blonde color with a small, listless whitish head that forms only after a very aggressive pour. Sour, astringent start, which becomes bready and malty in the middle. Light hoppiness to finish. Rather floral. I think this might be a bad bottle, but after all the other ratings I have read, the weird sour astringency seems normal.-----RERATE-- was purchased at Ledger’s Liquors in Berkeley, CA. Yup, this stuff sucks. It’s even less carbonated and even worse from this second bottle. nimbleprop (936), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Dec 15, 2006 Poured a murky, straw yellow with a medium sized foamy white head. Malty, grainy aroma, citrus note to it that is very inviting. Initial flavor is highly citrus, grapefruit and kiwis. Finish is sweet, full, honey and floral notes. Refreshing and complex. Not my favorite style, but very enjoyable. MrBendo (1044), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

Aroma of lemony citrus, pale malt and yeast. Fairly sour taste; I get a lemon-like wheatiness. Light body and refreshing.
