bottle, pours hazy gold, medium white head. Citrus hop aroma with a light malt and orange peel flavor ending with a peppery hop note that lingers. This is good.

12 oz bottle from Capones. Poured a hazy marmalade orange body sitting underneath a super quickly disipating frothy bright white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet with notes of honey combs, grass, and flowers. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a bitter finish. Flavor isn’t quite as floral with more fresh hops showing up, grains, fruit rinds. Not bad but hey it’s an APA so it’s not like it’s gonna knock your socks off with complexity, good enough though.

This beer is very light yet very good. A very unique American Pale Ale. Smells of sweet malts and tastes very floral. Goes down smooth, very refreshing and finished with a lisght hint of bitterness. Well crafted brew.

Pours a thin-but-cloudy orange, headless. Perfume bouquet with hints of tangerine, grapefruit, and strawberry. Subdued floral hops flavor with notes of mango and grapefruit. Dry mouthfeel. Water-like clean palate. This doesn’t fall in line with HOTD’s patented complex-to-the-max brews, but it’s pretty refreshing and enjoyable.

Bottle Pours a cloudy straw color with a smallish white head. The head lasts well and laces very well. Aroma is good with a nice blend of hops and fruits. Has a decent carbonation. The flavor is good. A powerful crispness with good hoppy character. Has a medium body. A bold mouthfeel. The texture is a touch oily and lightly dry. Has a good finish with a pleasing aftertaste. Overall this is a darn good beer.

Poured hazy golden yellow, CO2, smooth, tropical fruit, light citrus hop, little malty, little spice.

12 oz. picked up at John’s Marketplace before going to the brewery. Nice fluffy head. Actually, I did not expect this to be as yellow/orange as it is. A haze translucent appearance. So much Hair of the Dog in the past few days. A nice aroma with a pungent hop profile. Such a clean hop profile in the taste that is very nice. The hops are just all over. Not really backed by a smooth palate, but the hops are just again are ridiculous. Wish it were a bit more nuanced and had a greater malt backing, but still an amazing beer.

From notes from ’08 hazy gold pour, aroma is light and slightly fruity, some citrus. Smooth mouthfeel with a bit of tickle form the carbonation. nice ballance with the citrus hops and the light maltiness. refreshing to the max.
