Jul 3, 2006 I was willing to swear that I’d already tried this, but I had sampled Rose, not Ruth. Can’t keep the R’s straight. In any case, thanks again to whomever brought this to the 3rd Richmond Gathering, Numenor or Maniac. Earthy, floral hop aroma. Medium gold with a slight head. Flavor matched, with some random fruitiness in the malts as well. Struck me very, very similarly to a Rogue beer I tried once that had been made with Crystal hops, although I can’t remember which one it was off the top of my head. Not bad at all.

Jul 2, 2006 Great golden-cloudy body with a quickly diminishing white head. Pine, corn and malts in the aroma. Nice earthy accents, fruity with hops in the taste. Good wheaty ending. Opened at the 3rd Richmond Gathering.

Jul 2, 2006 Hazy orange color with a thin white head. Sweet floral hops aroma. Flavor of light citrus hops with some floral hops in the end.

Jun 30, 2006 Pours a merky yellow gold with a thin and nearly nonexistant head. This looks alot like a golden Belgian. The nose is robust, sweet and fruity with apricot-like hops in full force and some yeasty elements. The mouthfeel is smooth with a very appropriate CO2 level and decent thickness. Really nice for a session. The flavor is as bold as the aroma. Simple light malt sweetness with more of that apricot and fruity hop. The bitterness lingers rather nicely in a one dimensional simple way. This reminds me a lot of Magic Hat #9, only this is incredibly drinkable. If only I could pick up a six pack of this around here!

Jun 30, 2006 A cloudy, very very cloudy, yellow beer with almost no head. Peach, orange, bananas and apricot. Also sweet and mildly sour, nice hops, some peppery spice. Great flavour for such a refreshing beer.

Jun 7, 2006 Sampled from bottle. Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a thin white head. An aroma of flowers and candy is followed by a slightly bitter, yeasty flavor. Berries, citrus and some underlying malt sweetness also present. Perhaps a bit underattenduated (in my sample anyway). Reminded me of a good homebrew.

Jun 3, 2006 Updated: Jun 11, 2006Cloudy yellow-orange like a wheat beer with a light cloud cover. Aroma contains notes of apricot, citrus and yeast. Fruity flavours up front starting out with apricot, thick mouth feel and a huge unsweetened grapefruit finish that kicks ass. Refreshing and unique.
