May 10, 2006 Bottle at Volo. Hazy golden yelow bottle with a small diminishing white head. Odd melange of orange citrus and grassy malt aroma. Strange flavour, grassy, floral, sweet citrus. Light malty undertones. Interesting and sort of pleasant but doesn’t make me reach for another. Average palate.

May 4, 2006 GRAPEFRUIT. Bitter fruity pale hazy. Sweet fructose. Would be good with fish I suppose.
Hair of the dog is always worth trying because all there beers are very unique.

Apr 10, 2006 Bottle @ Volo .Gold touch of orange with rather small head, low carbonation .gently citric, grape, green apple with smooth lighter malts and brushed with hops. With first sip you will notice juicy malt base followed with faint hop character. Touch of spice, earthy, maybe even woody hop finish.

Apr 9, 2006 Aroma is muted citrus hops and some malt, hazy golden, pours a small cream head. Flavour is grapefruit, good malt too. Medium bodied, sour, bitter and dry. A nice little beer.

Apr 6, 2006 Updated: Dec 6, 2006Quickly dissappating white, fizzy head (very quickly) - nice color, very hazy golden color - Smooth taste, lots of yeast flavor. pungent bitter punch on the aftertaste, not overpowering but unexpected - nice malty flavor - good and dry. probably would not buy again but it was pretty good.

Apr 4, 2006 Hayz golden body, thin white head. Yeasty, malty aroma (sweet pale) with a light toasting. Similar flavor - toasty bread, fruity whole wheat. Tart strawberry finish. Dry.

Apr 4, 2006 Bottle at Volo (thank for bringing this in Ralph). Hazy yellow, hardly any head. Slight crisp hop aroma, bready. Nice sharp citrus hop taste. Lots of lemon. Light body, but enough for the style and this beer in particular. A simple refreshing nicely hopped beer that I will have on more than one occasion on the patio at Volo this summer.

Apr 3, 2006 From bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with no head. Some citrus mixed with the dry, mossy nose. Flavor is light with some spiciness, malt undertones and a bitter finish. Pretty good and very drinkable. This one disappeared while I was rating it.
