Slight crisp hop aroma, bready. Nice sharp citrus hop taste. Lots of lemon. Light body, but enough for the style and this beer in particular. A simple refreshing nicely hopped beer that I will have on more than one occasion on the patio at Volo this summer. gputty (456), Virgina Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2006 From bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with no head. Some citrus mixed with the dry, mossy nose. Flavor is light with some spiciness, malt undertones and a bitter finish. Pretty good and very drinkable. This one disappeared while I was rating it. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2006 Thin, fizzy head which does not last for very long. Light carbonation. Spicy hoppy aroma with some light citrus and bready dough. Color is a hazy golden orange. Crisp, dry and slightly bitter. Chalky in the mouth. Little bit of tartness along with a light bit of spicy pepper. Pretty good. Finish is a little dry and tart. A decent blond ale. Sammy (4049), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2006 A reasonable head, a cheaqper beer but also C hop aroma. A oppy Golden, a bit of a funkiness there. Appropriate carbonation. Yeast in mouth lent it a medium-full mouthfeel. Decent better than average brew, which may be substandard for this great brewery. Volo’s.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 15, 2006 Pouring into glass comes somewhat of a citrusy smell wafting into the air. The pour turns into a very cloudy golden, with a very white head. On first taste is a light hoppy flavor, again with hints of citrus. A great beer to kick back a sip a few of before moving on to some of the heavier Dogs in the pack from Hair of the Dog. LePoopie (151), Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA

Flavor was pretty good, slightly bitter. OK body and carbonation. Overall, this was pretty decent. hezron (604), Viroqua, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Mar 12, 2006 Yeasty, light citrus, musty minerals with a light fruitiness in the aroma. Golden-yellow with a tall, rocky-white head. Caramel, light malt with lots of yeat characters, some peppery notes, just a hint of hoppiness in the finish but yeast dominates. Lighter body, hight carbonation, slightly dry finish. Thanks to brigadier for the bottle.
