Ever so slightly hazy golden with a small layer of clean white head. Light, fresh, tingly, yeasty aroma. A bit of hoppy freshness, but not the primary aroma. Tart Belgian yeast character to the flavor. The hops are just playing a supporting role here too, with the zesty yeast and mild sweetness taking the main part. Light palate, but enough substance to be satisfying. A well-rounded session ale with lots of character.

Light golden colour with a small head. There’s a pine tinge to it with some delicate sweetness as well. I get a touch of masrcapone from this one. Bizarre! It was the last of 4 to be sampled and it was a delicate finish to a great Hair of the Dog night.

Light golden, orange pour into a wheat glass. Large head with huge carbonation. Light hoppy spruce aroma with some sweet date, fruit notes mixed in. Hop bitterness slowly grows in the body, but doesn’t grow in the finish. The bitterness lasts into the finish and holds for awhile. A very nice session ale and quite drinkable.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry at Bar Volo. Pours a hazy bubbly orange-yellow with a small white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, fruit, malt and spices -- simple but pleasant. Flavour’s very juicy and citrusy -- quite refreshing. Medium bodied. A great summer patio session beer.

Bottle

Pours a cloudy gold with a nice head and clinging lace. Aroma is honey, rose, and a bit of orange. Flavor is a blunt, buttery IPA with notes of honey, rose, grapefruit, and a touch of orange. Palate coats nicely. A very well-balanced beer; a light, refreshing beer that makes itself noticed. More are necessary!

Bottle (12oz). At Volo - yay! - shared with blankboy. Poured a bubbly murky orange-yellow with a decent fizzy white head - looks like carbonated pineapple juice. Very juicy aroma - tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, apricot, orange - with light resiny hops. Taste of citrus and tropical fruit juice, citrus hops - starts fruity-sweet and malty, ends lightly citrus-hop bitter. Lightl, juicy, mildly acidic mouthfeel - a terrific light juicy APA - solid summer patio beer.
