12oz bottle from Wade’s Wine. Pours hazy golden with massive white head. Pours like a triple. Aroma is citrus, hops, and light fruits. Flavor is hops, citrus, pale malts and light fruit. For the massive head there is not that much carbonation. Really nicely balanced and good for a hot summer day. Thought I was going to hate it based initial appearance and aroma but it is a decent pale ale.

Bottle. Golden pour with white foam. Aroma is of citrus, and hop and malt scents but the aroma is not as strong as many pale ales. Flavor follows aroma, nothing special, could be a session beer. One note. bottle says 4.5 %, where as the site reports 5.6.

a surprisingly mild but well balanced take on the style. body is light and lively, although the volcano that erupted from my bottle turned me off a bit. the merangie like head was a bit much. although the aroma and flavor was a little understated the beer was exceptionally well balanced and a good session pale ale.

Pours an off-white head with legs and a straw color body. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Flavor is citrus and spicy hops. Finish has a little bitterness.

Atlaggie found room for this in her suitcase last trip out to CA so big ups to her for surprising me with a want list beer! Pour is a clear dull yellow. Nice earthy, grassy, floral aromas. All those hops come through to the flavor pretty nicely. Some toasted grain working in the background and the finish is a slightly bitter citrus. Nice hop profile and noticeable for this straight APA. Most in this style I get are boring, flat, and no hop character. Not the case here.

Bottle thanks to DuffManSW. Hazy gold pour with a huge white head and lots of lacing. Very perfumy, flowery pine aroma with notes of citrus zest, yeast, grass, toffee, butterscotch, green apple, and some Belgian esters. The flavor is sweet and flowery clover honey, grapefruit, lemon, orange, butterscotch, and bubblegum. Dry medium body with lots of carbonation.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, fruit, tropical fruit, pineapple, and tangerine. Poured golden/amber in color with a small, white head that diminished but lasted around the edges. Cloudy. Not sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, tropical fruit, tangerine, and pale malts. Cloyingly sweetness. Medium body. Oily, slick texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, hoppy, finish is full of tropical fruit.
