Nose is fruity, spicy, toffee, butter. Flavor is sweet, and sort of De Dolle-like in character. Mild bitterness in the finish and a bit of heat which is a little surprising. Overall, a nice, different, apa. lithy (1750), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2009 Rating #1200. Bottle thanks to scrizzz. Pours a hazy golden orange with a lasting off white foam. Nice pine, spicy hoppiness, a good body of toffee and caramel, a touch of red apples and fruit. Taste puts the caramel, toffee, apples more up front. A trailing pine resin hoppiness and lingering bitterness make a solid APA. coyotehunter (551), , Michigan, USA

Pours a dirty orange with minimal head, but the taste is actually really good. Some floral hops, a little bit of sweetness, some fresh cut grass, and a light bitter at the end. Nothing special but as far as an APA, its not bad. DuffManSW (293), Riverside, California, USA
