Pours a hazy, bright orange body with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a nice amount of soapy lacing. Aroma is quite fruity with some sweet, grainy pale malts, yeast, and a light grassy hop bite. Tangerines, peaches, pears, lemons. Flavor is similar and enjoyeable. Pale malts, but lots of fruits similar to the aroma. Sweet, with a light spicy yeast and a nice finishing grass. Lingering taste has a slightly sour citrus along with some nice, sweet malts. Body is light to medium and somewhat bready with a dry finish. Overall, a really nice pale ale. Not the aggressive hoppy or boring pale malted ale like some, but very tasty with lots of fruit and just enough hop/spice balance to make it work. Good stuff. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 28, 2009 Bottle thanks to scrizz! Hazy, tepid gold, small white head. Nose is grainy and syrupy with grass, pale malt, and a lot of fruit: tangerine, orange, and lemon. Flavor has more hop and fruit, but the bitterness through the finish is the stunner. Unique stuff and rather complex for an APA. This one grew on me. beernbourbon (300), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2009 Thanks to BrewDad for this baby. Pour is hazy orange/golden color with a minimal white head. Aroma is light citrus hops, light malt, nectarine, and light yeast. Smells crisp. Flavor is subtle citrus hops up front with a touch of malt and yeast to follow. Finish is a bit bitter and floral with pepper notes and some yeast. Like the aroma, flavor is crisp. I like it and could drink many more. sebletitje (1925), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2009 What a treat - foggy pale gold, great style and balance. Hops verging a bit sulfuric at first, but no real skunk. Grassy hops over impressive-feeling body. Citric and fruity, beautiful taste. This was from the very bright Whole Foods beer room in the Bowery NYC, and mostly avoided being light-struck. vulcanmeister (102), La Grande, Oregon, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 16, 2009 12 oz bottle pours cloudy light golden brew with nice abundant head that sticks around for a while. Armoma is citrusy and sweet floral. Crisp clean mouthfeel.Flavor doesn’t attack like some pale ales. Just a nice balance of hops and malt. The finish goes out smoothly with light bitterness - just the right touch and nice floral and piny notes. Very nice. Pwn3d (1081), Manhattan, New York, USA
