| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2009 Appearance: Pours a light, clear gold with a 1/4 inch of white foam.
Aroma: Lemon, lemon grass, and earthy, dry malt aromas.
Taste: A mixture of citrus and bitter, slightly metallic hops. A small amount of malt comes through, just a mouthful of crisp hops is what what you go away with.
Mouthfeel: Thin, crisp, and refreshing.
Overall: A really great, classic American Pale Ale. This beer showcases balanced hopping, and what a Pale Ale can be without a mountain of malt. Firestone Walker Pale 31 is similar, but better. larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden

Fruity aroma, Apples and pine-apple.
Flowery flavour with elder-berries, pears, pine-apple and citrus. SamGamgee (1455), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2009 12oz bottle. Hazy yellow with a big rocky white head. Honey and light floral aroma with a fruity quality that I can’t quite pinpoint. Medium-sweet pale and biscuit malt flavors with floral and bitter hops in the finish. There is something unique about this that is hard to describe, but it’s a cool beer. snakeoilpete (324), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours mostly clear golden amber with minimal head. Strong and slightly funky aroma of pine and citrus hops and yeast- a little bit weird. Very earthy taste. Pine, grass, minerals, rose petals, and a little bit of citrus, with a slightly sweet malt backing if you look hard enough. Nice mouthfeel and long bitter finish. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 28, 2009 Hazy orangish yellow with hardly any head or lacing. Yeasty aroma with a slight lemony smell. Hops and malts flavors are barely evident; yeasts seem to rule here. Low carbonation, almost flat, light body and no aftertaste to speak of. This was pretty disappointing, so much so that I would believe I had a bad bottle. McGarnigle (313), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 28, 2009 Bottle. Hazy yellow, looks a bit like a hefe. Not much head from my pour (I left the yeast sediment in the bottle). Aroma is the lemony side of citrus. Light-ish body, properly carbonated. This really tastes like fresh grapefruit juice. Not the bitter stuff that’s sold in cartons, the fresh stuff with only slight bitterness. Fruity and mild, but maybe not beer-ish enough. MiP (9093), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2009 Bottle. Vinous aroma, some bread, old fruit. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour has the same old fruit as the aroma, but it is tolerable. Wheaty flavour, a little vinous. Old white bread. Some pepper in the finish. hirigalzkar (578), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2009 Bottle. Look: Yellow, hazy. Light head. Smell: Citrus, butter, fruit. Taste: Bitter orange, hops. Overall: This is a laid back, but still a very special brew. It’s got some touch of HOTD magic that i really can’t define.
