Bottled - tasted blind. An unclear dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with hoppy notes of grapefruit as well as notes of Belgian yeast. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of Belgian yeast and American hops - a bit over the top for my liking - like a Belgian IPA. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of BrianK. Pours a hazy golden with massive impurities and an off-white head. Yeast and fruit in the nose. Light-bodied with a heavy carbonation, notes of yeast, fruit and spices. Astringent, bitter finish. 010209

Bottled. Golden colour, lightly hazy. Fresh, somewhat acidic apple aroma. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Only lightly hopped, light medium bitterness. Surprsisingly subtle for a US west coast beer. I wonder if travelling has done it damage?

From bottle, blindtasting #1. Pours hazy orange with a slowly collapsing white head. Yeasty, mild spiced and hoppy. Somewhat cheeesy too. Sweet caramel malty and slight yeasty flavoured. Phenolic and medium dry finish with a lasting herbal impression.

Clear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, tobaco, moderate hoppy, flowers, orange - apricot, wet wool. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20090208]

Bottle. Vinous aroma, some bread, old fruit. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour has the same old fruit as the aroma, but it is tolerable. Wheaty flavour, a little vinous. Old white bread. Some pepper in the finish.

Bottled. Hazy yellowish orange colour, small white head. Aroma is very fruitish, but sour. Hoppy fruits, alcohol and very sour flavour. Due to the enormous sourness, it was kind of hard to find all minor flavours in it.
