BMan1113VR (779), Los Angeles (and Dallas, TX), California, USA May 13, 2008 A nice little beer with lunch. Pours with a small, rocky, white head covering a hazy golden body with decent lacing from the head. Aroma is sharply of fruits (raspberries) and some chardonnay grapes. Taste is floral hops out front, with some wheat or earthy elements towards the finish. Smooth-watery mouthfeel.
daknole (683), Plantation, Florida, USA Aug 24, 2008 Bottle from southbay. Pours a nice dark golden clor with a good white head. Aroma is very mild. Spicy, yeast, stone fruit and some hops. Flavor is smooth and very mild. Sweet, yeast, more stone fruit and a very high drinkability score. Nice but not my favorite HOD bew. malrubius (417), USA Aug 22, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Hazy golden straw with nice white head. Fresh hop aroma with some yeasty spice. Mild spicy sweetness with mild apricot and nice spicy clean finish. Medium body and nice effervescent medium carbo. Wow! An actual fresh beer from a Long Island beverage center. Nice and complex and sessionable with nice refreshing character and mouthfeel. durhambeer (397), Durham, North Carolina, USA Aug 20, 2008 Bottle from liquidsolutions. Golden, mildly hazy pour with orange tint and thin white head. Aromas of citrus (particularly orange), resiny hops, and fresh cut grass. A little spicy. Similar on the palate, with a crisp, dry finish. A little thick and waxy; actually would have preferred a lighter mouthfeel. Overall, solid. JMFG (1117), Florida, USA Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Slightly cloudy straw color with a white persistent head. Lightly funky and sweet aroma, some mild earthy hops present. Mildly citric taste, some hop character, light grassy funk. An interesting and drinkable golden. chicagodri (473), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 3, 2008 Pours a cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of fruit and citrus. Good flavor. For a plain type of blond ale, this is very well done. I enjoyed it. Very refreshing.
