Aug 7, 2008 From bottle at Stone Bistro. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Sweet and mild spiced aroma. Same flavour with a joining caramel presence. Smooth and fruity into the far finish.

Aug 3, 2008 Bottle from Wetherel @ Stone RBSG. Pours gold with a bright white ring. Nose is very tart and alcoholic. Taste has lots of carbonation, very nice taste, totally different than the nose.

Jul 6, 2008 On tap at Popeye’s in Tokyo, but I also bought a couple of bottles for $8 each at Tanakaya. Light amber color (surprizingly light, but then it is called "crystal ale"). Mild flavor. Has my palate been busted? Very creamy white foam on top. Smooth texture. A bit of buttery sweetness, but not in an oaky way. Very well hidden alcohol.

Apr 5, 2008 2001 vintage on tap at Popeye, Tokyo. Clear amber colour, small head. Alcoholic nose, some green apples. Green, bitter apples flavours. Not all beers improve with time, it seems.
