Bradrcr (554), Renton, Washington, USA Jun 25, 2007 On draught at the brewery. Aroma phenolic forward, with some plasticy notes followed by sweet malt. Appearance is a light pils straw, with a white head; ok retention. Flavor is pils malt forward, some stong carb bite notes, and slightly sweet. Texture is medium-high carbonation, light bodied, no creaminess. Overall, ok, true to the style with the goofy yeast, but just a bit to weird for a repeat drinking. acrdz (4248), Pennsylvania, USA Apr 12, 2005 Lightly cloudy golden hue with a foamy white head containing very small bubbles. Initially on the lips and tongue this beer is lightly sweet with a note of Saaz crispness, turning to a light bitterness and then finally citrus sour on the back of the tongue. Banana and clove character is evident, though light and somewhat held back by the sweetness up front. Has a somewhat grassy nose with notes corn and similar barnyard spices.
