Taste is cherry sour, again surprising for an imperial stout. Some malts in the after as well as alcohol/whiskey. Nice. trevor211 (518), Seattle, Washington, USA

Smells like Duchesse - cidery fruits, slightly grassy - surprisingly big mouthfeel, with balsamic and a touch of tart strawberry layered over dark malts. Best so far from Hales - by far. Aroma of roast malts along with some whiskey highs. Tast a little smoke, more of the thick roast malts and some of the ABV burn. Another tast treat from Hale’s.
