Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Dec 28, 2000 Yes, a world class stout. Rich, thick and toasty. Lovely chocolate and coffee nose and a semisweet slightly dry finish with a fair bite, YUM!
Angeloregon (1823), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 9, 2008 On tap at Produce Row in Portland--A deep black-brown creamy body with a thick pluming head of whiteness. Soft, fluffy mouthfeel with a nutty, roasty, chalky, smooth malt body. A bitter, off-finishing palate feel that was good but not quite perfect. Still, quite injestable. BrewDad (1621), Olympia, Washington, USA Jan 11, 2008 Pint - Two Mile Pub & Eatery - Olympia, WA
Aroma – Deep dark malt and creamy aroma.
Appearance – Dark brown color light head and clear sure if you can see in the dark.
Flavor – Closest thing to a Guinness I have ever had Severed with a hand pump this was tasty. Deep malts and light flavors.
Palate – Light very dry Mouthfeel.
Overall – This was a close cousin to Guinness. Nt bad it was dry for my liking but it was a good beer.
