jerc (3102), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 18, 2008 2008-04-18. Hazy orange amber body with a small white head. Moderate hop aroma, light resin. (6+) Similar flavour, moderate hops and resin throughout, light fruity character. Average palate. It’s pretty decent and quite drinkable, but just a bit more assertiveness to it would take it up a notch for me. Bottle from Karen’s Seattle Trip.

gotohelunc (347), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Aug 12, 2008 Bottle. Somewhat cloudy orange color with minimal head. Quite malty for the style, with a rich, chewy flavor and feel. Comes across as a hopped up English style IPA, and a pretty good one at that. Dansting (222), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Aug 6, 2008 Bomber bottle. Poured a slightly cloudy copper color with a light white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is hoppy but kind of off. Not a normal IPA hoppy aroma. Mouthfeel is nice. Flavor is very bitter and not much else. Heavy in grapefruit, but none of the floral hoppiness of the good IPAs. I was excited that this was available in Kansas, but this really let me down. mabel (1583), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 4, 2008 [1305-20080418] 1pt6floz bottle. Fruity floral petal sweet hops aroma with a strange juicy malt. Hazy, medium orange brown body with quick white bubbles and nice lattice on the top surface. Bitter earthy hops flavour has a bit of woodsy sap. Medium body is bitter. Very drinkable.

Overheard: "This is all I want an Ontario brewery to produce." Naven (705), San Diego, California, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pours a cool looking reddish amber color. Slight, faded hops aroma. Flavor is mild hops, specifically cascade and columbus, I believe. Metallic finish which is completely annoying. Even with a rating of 3.1, im probably being a little too generous, as this just isn’t very good. Other than the metal taste, I really can’t wrap my head around what I don’t like about this. I think it’s just the fact that it really lacks any sustainable IPA qualities. I would be interested to try this on tap. JonR888710 (1000), Cochabamba, Bolivia Jul 3, 2008 Pours a reddish gold. Medium sized head. Aroma is spicy hops, pine. Flavor is pretty good, with more of the asaid spicy hops atop a malty background. Nice beer, not great. Purchased this 12 oz bottle at Whole Foods in Falls Church, VA.
