12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber with hardly any head at all.
The aroma is sweet caramel malt, toffee and some hops.
The flavor is some sweet caramel malt with a pretty big metallic bitterness. It tastes a little vegetal. The mouthfeel is medium and watery with almost no carbonation.
Overall, some off notes make this a slightly substandard hoppy amber.

Oct 9, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of toasted malt, some metallic notes. Flavor has some raspberry in addition to the toasted/baked malt. Light bitterness that doesn’t really mesh with the rest. Doesn’t work terribly well for me, but not bad either.

Oct 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy of scrizzz. Pours a deep, dark amber with a very small white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of light sweet fruits (raspberry seeds) and sweet malt. Flavor of nice light fruity sweetness (more raspberry and strawberry seeds). Nice, light, and tasty.

Sep 30, 2008 Dark copper colored body with a lightly off white head. The aroma was light grapefruit and caramel. There was also some lightly roasted peanuts. The taste had some rich notes of caramel and a little bit of orange peels. There was also some light tobacco, but it was pleasing. A decent brew that was easy to drink.

Sep 24, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy caramel aroma. Malty hoppy bitter flavor with some caramel hints. Has a dry malty hoppy finish wit ha hoppy bitter aftertaste.
