BrewDad (1691), Olympia, Washington, USA Apr 13, 2008 5oz Taster - Hales Ales Brewery - Seattle, WA
Aroma – Strong bitter aroma from the hops. Nice malt backing.
Appearance – Amber in color, Nice creamy head and clear.
Flavor – Smooth bitter ale. Light grain build this beer was smooth from the N2 pour.
Palate – Smooth Mouthfeel, creamy texture with a dry finish.
Overall – One of the smoothest beers I have ever had. Served room temp traditional English serving temp. This was a bitter ale with no end. Nice stuff.
Crafty07 (334), Lexington, Kentucky, USA Mar 2, 2008 One of the ’nitro’ drafts from the brewpub in Northern Seattle suburb of Fremont, this creamy citrusy bitter is very addictive and perfectly made. It’s a ’must try’ when you’re out there. riversideAK (1648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Dec 3, 2007 On nitro. Pours dark orange with a creamy head. Aroma is some citrus hops, like a mild ipa.
