Commercial Description:
Green Gold IPA is brewed with green, or wet hops. These unprocessed Chinook and Centennial hops were used within days of being harvested and give the beer amazingly fresh aromas and flavors. Green Gold is malty, bitter, and very aromatic.

Draught at brewpub. Wet hop aspect is clearly evidient in nose. Nice. Hazy amber body with slightly off-white head. Slow and sparse visible carbonation. Nice lace. Quite sweet and very well balanced. A true pleasure to drink. A shame this is a seasonal, because it’s clear this will end up being HMBB’s highest rated brew. Drinking this in the warm late November sun on their patio was a peak experience. Get some while you can.

On draft at O’Briens Wet Hop Festival. Clear golden amber color with stringy lace. nice bold, crisp hop aroma, citrusy with notes of evergreen and herbs. Good malt levels in flavor, toffee and toasty, lovely fresh hops as well, grapefruit juice, a bit of pine and spice. Smooth medium body, easily tingly carbonation. One of my favorites of the Fest.

I’m at the brewery having their version with wet Simcoe hops. Citrus, maple and hops aroma; lingering small bubble head...gold color. Rich with strong floral and hickory notes, rich but not overly bitter hops. Dry, bitter finish.

Draft @ The Bistro Wet Hop Fest. Tons of starwberry and wet hoppped aroma. This is obviously a 100% wet hopped beer. Fruity and biter.
