Commercial Description:
Barley Wine is an English stye ale that's brewed using about twice the amount of barley as most other beers. Tey are always on the sweet side and may be hoppy like a double IPA, but are usually not. Although they are brewed with a lot of hops, the hops are usually just enough to to balance the sweetness of the malt and do not necessarily make the beer especially hoppy, aromatic or bitter. Moon Glow Barley Wine is brewed with four different barley malts and five different hops. The alcohol is 9.8% abv and it is sweet and malty with a noticeable alcohol warmth.
