May 8, 2008 Draft sample at brewpub. Poured a clear brown color with a moderate fizzy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium toasted sweet malty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Another drinkable beer that met my expectations.

Dec 17, 2007 Tap: Coppery reddish hue with a fading fizzy head and some lace. The aroma has notes of caramel, grassy hops, butterscotch, pear esters, and walnut. The taste is simple malty sweetness with a hint of fruit behind that. The finish displays a bready and buttery character. The mouth feel is soft and sprite. Paint by numbers amber ale.

Aug 4, 2007 This draft brew from the brew pub poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated light orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The almost non-existant aroma was malty. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of hops and Irish red malt. Not one that I would buy again.

Jul 1, 2007 Draft at the brewery and rated on 5/5/07. Small off-white head that quickly dissipated, sparse amount of lacing, transparent, no visible carbonation, and an orange hue. Malty, caramel, semi-sweet nose. Ditto for the flavor. Tingly mouthfeel. Light body. Missed the mark on this one given the style. Needs more chracter, aroma and flavor.
