Lighter clear copper pour, little carbonation and a good sweet malty aroma. Flavor is initially a little nutty/malty, then some hops and very light and dry on the finish. Not bad, but not one that jumped out as amazing.

Poured into a Samuel Adams Oktoberfest stein.
Reddish brown body, fairly opaque, lovely, cream-toned head.
Sweet aromatics, fresh, malty, herbal, slightly vegetal. Beautiful stuff.
Rich and full in the mouth, with hefty flavor. Solid malt, with discernible hop bitterness. Light nut flavor, with bright fruit feel shining in. Very tasty, gets better as we go.
Smooth and drinkable. Very nice. dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Pours a hazy amber brown with a fine white head. Leaves a little bit of lacing. Smells nutty with roasted malts, caramel, and some citrus and floral hops. In the mouth it’s medium-thin with a smooth and soft carbonation. Flavour starts off malty sweet with some biscuit and honey. finishes with a citrusy bitter hop taste. oakbluff (300), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Appearance- hazy chestnut with a frothy white head. Nose- mostly bready malts with some hop spice. Tate- doughy, bready malts and grains. Some fall spices are noticable as well, along with a tangy hoppy bite. Finish is dry and earthly. Carbonation is spot on and drinkability is very high. A delicious seasonal from HP. Great stuff!
