DuffMan (1962), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jul 3, 2008 Clear amber brown, moderate head, no lace. Toasty malt aroma, breadcrusty, with a hint of fruit. Low bitterness. More like a doppelbock in my mind. Nice. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Apr 18, 2008 Dark amber with minimal head. Aroma of some hops and prunes with a touch of rye bread. Flavour was quite sweet and under developed. No real carbonation made this sweet and apple juice like. Finishes with a sweet note.
