Sweet jolly rancher nose to this one. In the mouth it’s pretty sweet with a mild acidity and medium carbonation. Not bad though a bit too candy like for me.

(Can 50 cl) Clear - almost crystal clear - with a lightly greenish hue and a small, white head. Sweetish aroma of apple must. Light-bodied, sweetish notes of apple and licorice. Sugary sweet finish with no tartness at all. 200507

From 50 cL can. Pours pale white. Aroma is perfumed apple with a candy like sweetness. Flavour is again candy and strawberry like and apples. Sweet finish, no sourness at all.

Can. Small bubble-ish beige head... gone in seconds. Almost colorless, a slight yellow shine proves that this isn’t water. Aroma of sweet yellow apples with hints of an artificial, candy-like acidity. Predominant sweet apple taste.. nothing more in fact. Sugery palate. Sweet finish with traces of acid. Far too sweet.

Small grayish head quickly disappears entirely. Body looks like water with a splash of apple juice in it. Aroma is sweet apples, a bit artificial. Very straightforward. Taste is again sweet apples, somewhat artificial, and a bit watery. Aftertaste is sugary and artificial. Sugary taste lingers in the mouth. Drinkable, but way too sweet and artificial. (0.5l can.)

Can. Color is probably not what the brewery had in mind when making this one. It’s paler than urine after a night of drinking, probably clearer as well. There’s no head. If the brewery had no thoughts on color, they should have some time to spend with the aroma, but it’s only some artificial and chemical fruityness that reminds as much of pear as of apples. Flavorwise it isn’t much better. It has almost no body, except for the sugar-level and some vague carbonation it is like drinking water. There’s some apple flavor, but it’s very weak, and it has a short finish. Stay off these macro-ciders from Norway and Sweden unless it’s the rating you’re looking for. (070303)
