Dark brown with an orange hue, floating impurities and a small, beige head. Somewhat burned caramel notes in the nose. Quite full-bodied with plenty of roasted malt and burned caramel notes. Very subdued bitterness. Quite surprised to see this labeled as a Belgian Strong, to me it appears to be a rather classical and lovely Doppelbock. 160907 MiP (9089), Sønderborg, Denmark
