The aroma has lovely notes of chocolate and the mouth feel is soft and creamy. The flavour is soft and alluring with clear notes of chocolate and a bit of coffee and it has a light bitterness. It’s a gentle and yet powerful porter, and I enjoyed this bottle for an hour or so, and it’s like it kept on developing until the last drop. I have since enjoyed more of this beer, and it’s really nice. Ungstrup (15436), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2006 A brown beer with a slight red shine and a thick but quite fluffy dark brown head. The aroma is sweet and very roasted, combined with notes of dark bitter chocolate. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt and chocolate, and raw cocoa powder, leading to a dry roasted end lending some dryness from the cocoa powder. The mouthfeel is smooth and thick, until the dry aftertaste sets in. veronika (410), Sweden
