Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
Although the same alcoholic strength as Stallion, Goldfield is very different. Antique gold in colour and lighter in texture, Goldfield is a very easy beer to drink. Not overly bitter with a good clean aftertaste. This beer won first prize at the Weardale Festival in 1993, Goldfield was awarded Champion Beer at the Alloa Festival.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is slightly flowery, while the flavor is sweet flowery with a nice hoppy end.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Evening Star Brighton. A hoppy aroma to this hazy amber coloured beer. Whilst drinking this I thought it was a wheat beer as it seems to have lemony wheaty characters. It is ful flavoured and tasty.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Golden body with a speckled white head. Sweet lovely and smooth. Scrumptious and more’ish the beer formed the backbone of my hair of the dog programme at the WA on this Sunday.

It is way too bitter and low carbonated. In other words, it is a bit too English! Quite watery and thin.

A nice and hoppy bitter. Unfortunately it has the usual "English" watery and thin finish.

Sampled cask conditioned at the Danish Beer Festival.
Pale amber. Hay aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with big grassy hoppiness a nd long really bitter finish.
