| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 17, 2007 Rich malty porter. Quite the frothy pour leading to a brief white head. Let it warm,as it can come off a bit watery when too cold. But as it warms, the chocolate and dark fruit malts erupt. Very nice! nimbleprop (947), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Poured a watery, opaque black with a fast fading white head. Smells like chocolate, a little yeasty, malty and a hint of licorice. Heavy licorice flavor, heavy roasted malt. A little too one sided for me from a flavor stand point. Doesn’t look, smell or taste like an elite porter. cgarvieuk (4214), Edinburgh, Scotland
