| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2005 A faint bit of ruby light seeps through the center of this one. The light khaki head is airy and lasts long enough to get noticed. The aroma is nicely roasty over a bit of chocolate cake. The flavor is a bit of a letdown. While smooth, it comes across a little bland after the fairly rich aroma. Still quite drinkable. Garrat (1132), Suffolk, England

Malty taste, caramel, light liquorice, roasted malt. Ends with delicate chocolate and roasted malt, but not enough bitter. Really interesting. Bov (5508), Bienne, Switzerland
