A ruby to dark brown beer with a creamy, medium to small beige head leaving some lacings. Slightly coffeeish nose, quite roasted, with some fruityness. Roasted, coffee aroma, a bit buttery, but in a pleasant way, some dark bitterness, a touch of cocoa and some bonfire-like smoke notes. Medium, smooth mouthfeel. Really pleasant, smooth-drinking beer feeling big without being that. (080517) Rune (2862), Tromsø, Norway
