| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 12, 2004 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense. A particularly musty smell which was a bit offputting. The beer is dark brown with little head to speak of. There is some bitterness in the taste but an unpleasant snatch in the aftertaste. I think this beer was suffering from being a little unfresh as Hambleton is usually a reliable brewery.
