Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available in pasteurised bottle.
In a class of its own, there is no denying the pedigree of this beer. National award winning brewer, Nick Stafford, has created a recipe of subtle bitterness and aromatic finish that will be repeated for generations. This wonderfully smooth drinking beer began life as an 'Autumn Special'. It was immediately the most popular special we had produced. Aroma hops give a delicacy and subtlety to the robust full-bodied flavour. Straw coloured.

Slightly soapy looking head sits atop a clean golden body, the head spoils its appearance and not surprisingly it doesn’t last long either. Everything else about this brew is great tho! From the fresh flowery hops bursting through on the nose, to the gentle sweet, smooth malt of the palate. A gentle citrus fruit slowly creeps across the tongue on the considerable finish. Truly a quality beer, spoiled by the awful looking head...it was a clean glass with no trace of detergent...as far as I could see! Asda, Harrogate.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Hazy orange, no head. Peach/orange beginning, then a hoppy, fuzzy and herby mouthfeel - thick, jammy and packed with flavour. Good bitter finish. Very tasty indeed.
