Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available in pasteurised bottle.
In a class of its own, there is no denying the pedigree of this beer. National award winning brewer, Nick Stafford, has created a recipe of subtle bitterness and aromatic finish that will be repeated for generations. This wonderfully smooth drinking beer began life as an 'Autumn Special'. It was immediately the most popular special we had produced. Aroma hops give a delicacy and subtlety to the robust full-bodied flavour. Straw coloured.

500 ml bottle. Deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. Light mocha notes in the bready malt aroma. Bready and mocha flavours as well, with a roasty bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Thin white head, clear dark orange body. Sweet and rather ordinary aroma of malt, fruit and caramel. Mostly sweet caramelly and malty flavor with some hoppy hints. A typical English ale.

Bottle. Golden-amber with small head. Fruity, resinous, bitter, light-medium body. Easy drinking but a little boring.

Nice golden, hoppy bitter. Drank in Nags Head, Pickhill.. close to the brewery. Served perfectly and tasted extreamly fresh and quaffable. The finish is long and pleasant.
