Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available in pasteurised bottle.
In a class of its own, there is no denying the pedigree of this beer. National award winning brewer, Nick Stafford, has created a recipe of subtle bitterness and aromatic finish that will be repeated for generations. This wonderfully smooth drinking beer began life as an 'Autumn Special'. It was immediately the most popular special we had produced. Aroma hops give a delicacy and subtlety to the robust full-bodied flavour. Straw coloured.

[Cask] An orange beer with a fine small head. The aroma is lovely hoppy. The flavor is cask-flat with notes of oranges and hops. A nice bitter.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy amber with an off-white head leaving laces. Slightly fat, malty nose. Medium-body with a sweetish, lightly caramelish malt base with a vague - but refreshing - citrusy edge. Quite light and very quaffable. 140706

Bottle. Clear light orange amber color with a small fair lacing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, fruit. Initial flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter, finish flavor is light sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. A very good ale.

Cask. Nice fruity aroma. The flavour is sweet and fruity with a bitterness which gets a bit acidic. Hazy golden colour, frothy white head. A bit of plastic in the flavour, too.
