Blond with a white head and lace. A typical sweet golden English ale and very dull for it. Maybe a little too sweet but that really is all that stands out. Inoffensive but my god I’m bored. Maria (4380), Thisted, Denmark May 6, 2007 Nice, but quickly disappearing head, that leaves a nice lace. The color is dark amber and the aroma is malty. The mouthfeel is dry and the flavour has a lot of roasted malt and citrus, that gives a nice bitterness. It’s like there is not room for other notes, but a bit of apple sneaks in. The finish is dry and a bit harsh. It’s both wild and quite tamed - so if you can accept both, this is a beer for you. johninmelb (637), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jul 24, 2006 Bottle. Fantastic sweet malt nose with some hop and some honey. Pours gold with a white head and good lace. Flavour is hoppy with some citrus and some melon. Finish is long and bitter with still more hops. Very nice. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 6, 2006 Bottled at Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg, DK. Dark golden with a nice, white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with pines and citrus.
