Amber. Small head. Slightly cloudy. Hops on the nose, but not so much in the taste. They’re there, of course, but not as strong as many other IPAs. Which makes me question why they called it a "double" IPA when serving it.

Tap at brewpub. Pours a deep but thin amber with a peculiar nose of spearmint and grapefruit. Rooty grapefruit and sour hops in the flavor; watery mouthfeel. Refreshing, but not worth imbibing out of sight of a beach.
