Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear amber color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, light alcohol, notes of licorice. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020508)

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Sussex Beer Festival.
Full on copper coloured ESB. Big earthy malt with a bit of funky sourness. Not sure how intentional that is but it works well. A big hit of barley & wheat. Lovely earthy finish. Really interesting and enjoyable.
