Man, it this a horrible brew! The only thing this beer has going for it is the Hamms bear, he kicks ass! frylock (1025), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jul 15, 2004 stale bread and corn aroma. Very little taste, hints of corn and malt. Of course this is bad, but its not as offensive as one might think. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 14, 2004 Served in an ice-cold can, American-style. This is a macro with an inoffensive, non-hoppy taste. There’s some diluted sweet malt, a touch of cheap cigar smoke (or maybe that’s the bar?), and in the finish... well, there’s more of the same, just lighter, but with a metallic touch. Bit of cardboard and sweetness in the aroma, but it’s hard to get a good reading on this because I’ll feel silly smelling a beer can. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jun 26, 2004 Hmm, the beer refreshing and such. So it’s poured me a gold color with no head and no lace. The only aroma I detect is a slight malt and a slight corn. The flavor is pretty mild. Some hops, well no hops really. Some malts. Not too much to this beer. Nothing really excites me about it, but then again, it’s not too bad. mohawksin (187), Nebraska, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 19, 2004 Another colon cleansing product from Miller. Except this one tastes better than most. Still available on tap at several northern Wisconsin dive bars. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 15, 2004 I would like to send a special shout out to my dad for leaving this one behind....not really. This falls into that lawnmower category. Light and watery much like the grass clippings in aroma. Cheap but not bad. Yankovitch333 (612), Chesapeake City, Maryland, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 15, 2004 Cheap American swill. What’s more to say? Well, actually it’s not that bad. Rather drinkable. Light on flavor. Watery. Nothing offensive. I’d choose Hamm’s over Bud or Miller Lite any day. whiterabbit81 (244), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 30, 2004 Damn, I can’t figure out why but this stuff tastes very familiar. Sorta reminds me of what beer tasted like when I used to sip beer from my father. I picked up a 24 pack case for less than 9 bucks, so it is an unbelievable deal. Has more taste than bud/coors/miller and a way cooler heritage. A very good deal and tasty for its style.
