Commercial Description:
Another classic beer produced by Pabst Brewing Company. From the land of sky blue waters, Hamms is truly the beer refreshing. Hamms has a legacy of quality and tastyness that is unrivaled by any beer known to man. Back in the olden days, Hamms was traded by the Spanish for spices and fine silks from the orient, which were then transported across the seas and traded for more Hamms

A solid beer typical of the genre. Reasonable head, some lacing. Nothing overly special, a bit on the watery side, but refreshing when cold. Goes well with a meal. Vacation 03.

Thank you dad for having some of these cold when I was over and my beer was still warm. Clear yellow, ho head. Faint spoiled lager aroma. Thin, watery, and overcarbonated. Milky-lemon taste of corn. This stuff gives me a headache by drinking just one.

A straight up picnic beer. Hamms doesn't suck as bad as most people think but this sky blue water silliness just kills me. Buy this beer if you're expecting company and you don't care if they think you're a cheap bastard.

Brewed by Miller. Too bad; it used to be a decent beer with a lot of history in Minnesota, including a kidnapping in the '30's.

A very decent American standard now brewed by Miller. Golden color, with a head that looks good but could be puffier, and a nice malty aroma. The flavor is on the sweet side with some grain huskiness, and the finish is mellow. Pretty good, but who in the hell wrote that commercial description?

Love the old keg cans, those were neat to have, I just don't want the beer inside. Hamms draft is a much better beer.

You see a lot of Hamms cans in the road ditches in eastern Oregon in logging and ranching country. Basically a reasonably good cheap beer, similar in some ways to PBR. Better than Bud and the other TV beers. Can give a pretty good headache in bottled form for some reason (not in cans). Draft form is better and less headache producing.

During a recent trip to the Walmart Superstore I saw a 12 pack of Hamms for $4 & change and decided to have "redneck weekend" After my first Hamms I was pleasantly suprised and found them quite drinkable and much better than Budweiser. Hamms is my new favorite cheap lawn mowing beer.
