mmmmmmmmmmmmm very good in taste. kind of hoppy. really enjoyed this beer

I just started drinking this beer this summer, now I cant quit. It is very light, refreshing, does not fill you up. It has been great to drink this summer in the afternoons, then throw something on the grill, goes great with any beef. I have even converted some of my neighbors to drinking Hamms.

Opening the hunting camp in the fall is a magical experience: the musty smell, the Hamm’s signs dusted with cobwebs, the brisk autumn air...The leaves crunch under my feet as my worries disappear in that Upper Michigan wilderness. An owl can be heard in the distance. Back at camp, the sauna and barbeque get lit, and a cooler of Hamm’s and ice takes center stage. The sun goes down, and coyotes howl at the full moon. I climb into my down sleeping bag, gullet full of Hamm’s. I wake up and have Hamm’s and eggs for breakfast. The road hunt is on, with good cigars, hardroll sandwiches, Waylon Jennings on 8-track, and plenty of ice cold Hamm’s.

Hamms is one of the great old beers that should not be discontinued. i sell 10 cases a week and sold 5 half barrels in 12 days. I own the waterstreet pub in Peru Illinois and have been told we are the only ones in Illinois that have Hamms on draft. give that old beer a chance. the best of the worst beers. definately an aquired taste. my "of age" friends and i drank this my senior year in high school, it was nasty at first, but once youve drank enough, it starts to taste really good. hamms is the only cheap crappy beer that i will drink.

i am from MN and i pound hamms, all you (slight taste of mint and earth wrecks) can pipe yer chute down if ya dont like it

everybodys father drank hamms...thats not to much out of line.the first beer i got drunk on,hungover on,and tasted.its taste is one in a million,when its ice cold there is nothing that matches it.this beer will make you a man...put hair on your chest and give you the worst hangover ever!!!! do yourself a favor and drop the $9.99 for a 30 pack..then try to kill the whole thing. if you dont have a skull spliting headache you are my hero. thanks dean

I have been drinking this beer and only this beer for a couple of years now. It goes down smooth, the taste is good, with a good color. My beer of choice no matter where I am or what I am doing.
