2008 Can - On can at the Modern Bar, I don’t know whether it was the neo-beatnik scene of a Boise bar trying to emulate Portland, or the throngs of drunk fifty-somethings making me feel daring and too young to be drinking in a bar, but I have to admit, hamms + ambiance = not piss...it had an aroma like grass and high school, flavour was light bitter, light malt, light gymsock, high carbonation...to be honest, I liked this light lager more now with my discerning tastes than I did when I was 16 and willing to ask strangers to buy me beer, that being said, it still sucks...

Oct 7, 2008 Had a can last night so i gotta do it...well lets just put it this way, i had half a can and then moved on to coors light...if that explains anything, it wasn’t gaaawd awful...but it wasn’t very good

Sep 16, 2008 Not as bad as Bud, but not much better. I think they got this beer from the bear that used to do the commercials. Nasty stuff.

Sep 14, 2008 Only after having this fairly recently, I asked myself if I had ever reviewed it. Hamms is like an old american (mainly 60’s-70’s wisc) traditional brew that has dusty, cracked faded signs still hanging around redneck bars in the northwoods of Wiscnsin still promoting it. I had it again last week when my friend got 2 for $1 at a local bar here in Madison.
Pours a bright pee yellow colour with a full but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is grainy, malty and lemony all the way through. Nothing too spectacular, nostalig for some im sure- but otherwise a waste of time and the liver.

Sep 1, 2008 Pours golden/yellow color with a white head that surprisingly, does not dissipate immediately. Aroma is malts and corn. Goes down like water. Perfect for binge drinking, and that’s all.

Aug 7, 2008 I love the haters of good, summertime beer. Hamms is a fantastic old favorite. Yeah, you’re going to have a stiff hangover, but don’t drink 12 of them. If anyone knows where to find Hamms on the East Coast, let me know.
