Bottle. Golden and lively with a large cream foam. Aromas are buttery and salty malts with some spices. Soft citrus with yeast. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with bubblegum and soft citrus. Yeasty and spritzy on the finish.

Cask conditioned @ Black Boy, Winchester. Starts off malty sweet, toffee with a slight buttery edge. Fruity hops come through slightly on the finish. Buttery toffee verging on diacetyl type flavours prevented me from enjoying it more.

Copper colour. Fruity aroma. Sweetish palate with more fruit. Some restrained bitterness coming through late. Distinct hoppiness of the finish. Medium bodied and smooth. The sweetness and the hop character were rather strained bedfellows, but it worked quite well. Just a touch too sweet to score higher for me. Cask (handpump), The Black Boy, Winchester.
