Commercial Description:
Based on a Bohemian-style Pilsner, our Pamlico Pilsner is a truly refreshing lager that is indeed true to Pilsner roots. Brewed with a blend of three malts and three hop varieties, including the famous Czech Saaz and hops of Saaz and Hallertauer lineage. Medium-bodied and elegant, this brew definitely tilts toward the hoppy side. Nazdravi! ABV 4.8% 2006 CAROLINAS CHAMPIONSHIP of BEER BRONZE MEDAL WINNER BOHEMIAN-STYLE PILSNER

Draft. Dark gold, light amber. Smell of wonderful hops. A light hoppy taste. Kind of reminds me of a lighter version of the Peg Leg Ale. Pretty good stuff here.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden color with thin white head that laced the glass. Smells of Saaz hops and light toffee. Biscuity malt flavor which is nicely balanced with the delicious Saaz flavor. Slightly sweet. Reminiscent of Pilsener Urquell except for the touch of sweetness.
