lace just gets thicker and thicker, very creamy body does a great job of delivering the rich citrus hop flavor, pales in comparison to the Double Peg, fatigues by the time you get to the bottom of the pint

Nose is citrus hops with a nice malt backbone. Flavor follows suit. A fine ipa that went nicely with my cheeseburger and homemade chips. Overall, a little weak for my tastes but very drinkable and unoffensive. Kudos to TL! 19641948 (491), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 21, 2007 Pours a cloudy and murky golden amber color. Willowed head of white. Citrusy hops fill the nares along with a tacky dollop of pine. Mild grassiness. Hops dominate the flavor, with plenty of Pacific Northwest character afoot. Subtle malt base underneath. Solid bitterness; a worthy IPA. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
