Commercial Description:
This unfiltered India Pale Ale is brewed using traditional pale ale malts and four hop varieties. Hops are added in six stages, including a large addition of Cascade hops used for ‘dry’ hopping. Dry hopping is responsible for the huge, floral hop aroma that is this ale’s signature. This beer is a pale ale lover’s dream! Hopheads rejoice! Sampled on draught at the 11th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Clear dark yellow pour, with a decent creamy head. Floral hop aroma. Light sweetness up front, with some bitterness coming in and adding a nice dryness in the finish.

On tap at the Durham WBF. Gold with a creamy beige head. Strong grapefruit sweet caramel nose. Lots of grapefruit flavor balanced out well by sweet caramel. Very good!

Draft sample at Knoxville Brew Jam. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body. Heavy bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Another good pale ale.

lace just gets thicker and thicker, very creamy body does a great job of delivering the rich citrus hop flavor, pales in comparison to the Double Peg, fatigues by the time you get to the bottom of the pint

On tap at the restaurant in Greenville. Pours a clear amber with a thick, foamy, head. Nose is citrus hops with a nice malt backbone. Flavor follows suit. A fine ipa that went nicely with my cheeseburger and homemade chips. Overall, a little weak for my tastes but very drinkable and unoffensive. Kudos to TL!

Pours a cloudy and murky golden amber color. Willowed head of white. Citrusy hops fill the nares along with a tacky dollop of pine. Mild grassiness. Hops dominate the flavor, with plenty of Pacific Northwest character afoot. Subtle malt base underneath. Solid bitterness; a worthy IPA.
