Commercial Description:
Brightly filtered, highly carbonated, golden premium-style lager. It is lightly hopped with Polish Lublin hops. The beer will appeal to those who prefer the lighter American style beers.

Pale cloudy appearance; funky aroma; sour cereal notes in the palate; metallic; olive oil?

Bottle... Lightly hazy straw-colored lager with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Great, creamy retention. Breadsy, sweet nose and flavor with hints of butterscotch and honey. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Sweet, yeasty finish. Not much in the way of hops, but I like all the breadsy yeastiness. Nice Polish-style lager! I’m gonna go against the grain and say if I lived in Michigan, I’d drink this beer every day other day! You see, this is the reason I keep trying all these damned pale lagers. I refuse to give up and it finally pays off!

Draft at new brewpub. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium biitersweet flavor with a small bitter finish of moderate duration. Drinkable basic brew.

Slightly cloudy, small head, nothing special in look. Aroma was strong, but so what if I could not detect anything that could be peasant to my nose. Acidic, malty, low on hopps. I wanted to try this beer. As a Pole I wanted to be this beer good, maybe I wanted too much. My verdict is: This brew got nothing to do with most of Polish lagers. Hamtramck does not deserve to bear White Eagle in the label. Shame.

Beer #3 in "Clean Out The Fridge, May 06". 12 oz bottle pours into an EKU glass golden with a fluffy white head that just about dissapears before your eyes. Aroma is n’t straight up corn juice but more like fresh corn that got put through the Ultimate Chopper. This beer totally sinks. Im not even going to waste anymore time thinking about it and instead going to get something different, while this gets the time it deserves in the NY City sewer system.

Bottle: Aroma is bready with some grassy notes. Not very appealing. Pours a transparent yellow with a fizzy white head that fades quickly. Aroma is lightly sweet up front with some bread notes. Light tartness in the background and a light grassy hop finish. Not very appealing.

Crystal clear coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of skunky pale malt and a bit of old hops. Light-bodied; Strong malty flavour with some mild fruity tastes, some skunky hops and a nice cardboard finish! Aftertaste, just as bad - this one is definitely not showing any complexity. Overall, a pretty bad beer - but if you are polish or in that area in Detroit, try this one out. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from a store off Jos. Campau in Hamtramck (Detroit), Michigan on 25-December-2007.

This is actually brewed with an ale yeast rather than a lager yeast. Light straw body, thin off-white head. Slightly cerealy, watery aroma with just a touch of grassy hops. Tangy, tart, white grape flavor (mr_kimchee nailed it) with a grassy, biscuity finish. New 2005 batch, so apparently somebody thought this deserved another run!
