A bit sweet in the nose, but not too dominant. The taste is for a 9,5% beer very smooth. Caramel is present, and in the finish a slight bitterness which just comes at the right time. Medium body, slightly fizzy but soft carbonation. A somewhat straightforward, but well-made and clean doppelbock. deyholla (735), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

Dark brown,
lots of malt, caramel and assorted sweetness, related to an old fashioned Scandinavian Christmas Beer.
Warming alcohol, could have done with more dryness to lift and balance it.
